Our lovely Meridian Insider James has unfortunately been poorly so has not been able to partake in any of our physical challenges. James gives us tips on how to stay healthy while on the mend!

Over to you James...

Since the end of July, my strict training regime has been broken by two minor surgeries on my lower back to remove an abscess; last surgery 12th September, where it was all stitched up & now healing very well. Started training again, building the time, intensity & frequency up, but believe it may take another 4/5 weeks before on track for standard form!

A good healthy diet & lots of Meridian PNB & Almond Butter, plus molasses in the porridge ensures I’m ready to take on the next challenge of a 10k run before Christmas!

First reasonable, but short morning run today & at 06.30 it’s now only just light, but the morning sky with a full moon was magnificent & the coast is being battered by high tides & waves, which adds to the fun of running through the sea spray on Shaldon sea front!
